I suspect the error stems from PMS not being able to transcode the file? The reason I went to Plex on the NAS is because Windows DNLA via WMP totally sucks! If I install PMS on my PC, can I still have it create the library from the data stored on the NAS? Would that be a better configuration than what I am doing now? The NAS has an ARM 1.2Ghz processor which is not very powerful I know, but I've been streaming movies off of it successfully and only received a couple of "File Corrupt" errors where the file wouldn't play and I know for a fact the file isn't corrupt. I have a lot of movies and since PMS is installed on the NAS and all my media is also on the NAS but I am updating all the metadata through a webpage.where is the database stored? Now I am adding media and retrieving metadata with thumbnails for my movies. Installed PMS on my Seagate-D2 NAS as it was offered thru Seagate NAS OS 4.
